Dear Family of Amazing Rabbit Brush Gallery Friends and Artists,
As many of you know, the building that housed Rabbit Brush Gallery and 5 other small business was destroyed in a fire on Friday, Dec. 15th. Everybody in the building was able to escape, with one person hospitalized for smoke inhalation.
All of the small businesses at 402 Main were part of a dream realized, from Crystal's handcrafted dog collars, to Jenai's dog grooming services, Holly's beautiful leather work, Julie's accounting services for many local businesses, Chelsea and her family's galley, and of course, Rabbit Brush. To paraphrase writer Edward Abbey - "When your trail is winding and crooked, may it lead to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds."
Our heartfelt thanks to the firefighters and first responders, our gratitude for your help cannot fully be expressed by mere words. And to the countless people and businesses of Lyons who rallied around with hugs, blankets, hot drinks and food, words of support, support dogs, trailers, pick-ups and so much more, again, no words. You materialized out of thin air making arrangements for things we didn't even know we needed. You were our shelter from the storm.
It will take some time to sort out the RBG business end of things. but please contact me at PO Box 495, Lyons 80540 if you had a layaway, gift certificate, etc. or are one of our much-loved consignment artists, so we can be in touch.
Love and much gratitude for everyone's support, Liz and Cynthia
